Church News and Events

Welcome and thank you for joining us today! “Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.” Romans 15:7 NKJV   

Guest Speaker: We are blessed to welcome Sister Gabriela Mancia and her family to our worship service today. Thank you for sharing God’s Word with us. May the Lord speak to each of us through her message.  

Potluck: We invite everyone to join us for our potluck lunch following the worship service today. Stay for some good food and fellowship! “Kitchen crew” families for June: Chujutalli, M. Garcia, Hernandez, Najera, and Santos 

Children’s Choir: This exciting program is designed for children (ages 7-14) who love to sing and want to explore their musical talents. Practice will be held today at 2 p.m. (following potluck).  

Door-to-Door Evangelism: Our literature distribution walks GP neighborhoods every Sabbath afternoon. Meet here at the church at 2 p.m. All are welcome! 

Investiture Service: Our Pathfinders, Adventurers, and Master Guides have had a wonderful year of fun with honors, activities, and campouts! We invite everyone to come and show your support of this youth ministry tonight at 6 p.m. 

Church Cleaning Day: If you’d like to help with cleaning the church once a month, join Mike Garcia, our head deacon, on Sundays after potlucks. They will be cleaning tomorrow morning starting at 8 a.m. All are welcome! 

Prayer Meeting: Series on Christ Object Lessons - Join us Wednesdays at 7 p.m. 

AY Vespers & Game Night: Join us next Saturday at 7:30 p.m. to enjoy an evening of praise, worship, and Bible games as we close the Sabbath side-by-side. Then, connect with friends and engage in fun and games for everyone! 

Vacation Bible School Is Coming July 21-25! This summer, we’ll journey with Joseph from prison to palace in Egypt! Early registration is now open for kids and volunteers! Visit gpsda.church/vbs for all the info and how YOU can help! Registration will close July 1 – please sign up soon!
