Dates: Friday, April 5 - Sunday, April 7

Where: Loyd Park at Joe Pool Lake

Weekend Campers:

  • Sites are first pay, first reserve

  • $25 per family/household (sites may be shared with another family)

  • Includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, please bring a case of water to share

Day Visitors:

  • No charge (except Entrance Fee, see below)

  • Sabbath lunch will be provided, please bring a dessert to share

  • If staying into evening, please bring your own dinner

Entrance Fee (to be paid at park entrance): Church Group discount - $10 per car (up to six people). Must tell the entrance gate attendant that you are with the “church group” to receive the discount.

Weekend Itinerary

*All times are subject to change; all activities are optional, but we encourage you to join in the fellowship and worshipping together!

Friday, April 5

  • 2-6 p.m. - Check-in and set up camp

  • 6-7:30 p.m. - Dinner on your own

  • 7:30-9 p.m. - Evening worship around the main campfire | Speaker - Ruben Najera

  • 10 p.m. - Quiet hours

Saturday, April 6

  • 9-10 a.m. - Breakfast will be provided for weekend campers

  • 11 a.m. - Morning worship (Sabbath School) around the main campfire

  • 11:30 a.m. - Sermonette around the main campfire | Speaker - Pastor Belew

  • 1 p.m. - Haystack lunch will be provided for all

  • 2-6 p.m. - On your own (walk, fellowship, nap)

  • 6-7 p.m. - Dinner (don’t forget to bring your own skewers if you wish to cook something over the campfire)

  • 7:00-7:30 p.m. - Vespers around the main campfire | Speaker - Joyce Belew

  • 7:30-10 p.m. - On your own (or group games, fellowship/hang out around the campfire)

  • 10 p.m. - Quiet hours

Sunday, March 26

  • 9-10 a.m. - Morning devotion and breakfast on your own

  • 10 a.m.-12 p.m. - Pack up (check out is 12 p.m.)

Some packing items to keep in mind - tent and stakes, bug spray, lantern or flashlight, chairs, blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, games, snacks, cooler, sunscreen, etc.

Day Visitors - bring your own chair, food, cooler with your own drinks, flashlight (if staying after dark), etc.

Parking: Vehicles must maintain all wheels off paved surface while parallel parking. Head-in parking off the pavement is not allowed. Campsites may have two vehicles per site parked in the site’s parking space.

Restrooms and Showers: The camp has a restroom and shower facilities located near the group camp site. Please bring your own toiletries and towels.

Pets: Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash at all times. Please make sure to clean up after your pet. Pets are not allowed on the swimming beaches or playgrounds at any time. Pets cannot be left unattended at any time.
